Offhands are equipable items (NFTs) used across the #samaverse. Every offhand has its unique utility. You can now use them in the Moonsama Minecraft or Pondsama metaverses.
Called offhands in the Minecraft metaverse, or artifacts in the Pondsama metaverse. We'll refer to them as offhands in general.
Minecraft - there is a 2-minute cooldown applied to the repetitive usage of some buffs (moonrum, moonburger, moonpaw), same as the offhand change - you can switch between different offhands only after the cooldown times up.
Pondsama - buffs are applied automatically by the battle engine.

The following list of offhands is ordered from the oldest to the newest (latest additions).
Moonbrella
The first offhand. There are Moonbrellas with various colors/rarities, but they all have the same utility.
Minecraft - right-click when in the offhand slot to activate slow falling - this will prevent you from taking any fall damage.
Pondsama - each round, give the Moonbrella to your frontline fish. It gets another 100 defense while the Moonbrella is equipped.
Moonana
Wield the power of potassium
Minecraft - increases jump by 1.5x while offhand.
Pondsama - each round, give the Moonana to your fish with the highest speed. It gets another 100 speed while the Moonana is equipped.
Moonburger
Careful not to stain your shirt.
Minecraft - eat the Moonburger to refill some of your hunger bars.
Pondsama - each round, give your fish with the lowest health a new Moonburger. After taking more than 200 damage in one hit, consume the burger to restore 150 health. The burger decays at the end if the round if it isn't consumed.
Moonrum
Imagine moonshine but with rum.
Minecraft - drink the Moonrum, to get a strength boost for 30 seconds. When you drink it you will get a bit drunk and have nausea + slowness effect for the duration of the buff.
Pondsama - at the start of the battle, give the Moonrum to your fish with the highest power. It gets another 200 power while the rum is equipped. Expires after 5 turns.
Moonpaw
No moon-animals were harmed during the making of this NFT.
Minecraft - when holding in offhand hold "Shift" for 2 seconds, to activate a speed boost for 15 seconds.
Pondsama - at the start of the battle, give the Moonpaw to your fish with the highest speed. It gets another 200 speed while the paw is equipped. Expires after 5 turns.
Detectore
There are different detectores with different rarity/looks, but they all have the same utility.
Minecraft - glows with different colors near an ore by 3.5 blocks; every color indicates a different ore (dark blue - lapis, light blue - diamond, yellow - gold, white - iron, green - copper, dark gray - coal, gray - ancient debris)
Pondsama - each round, give the Detectore to your lowest defense fish. The first time the fish gets attacked during that round, the Detectore has a 50% chance of negating the attack.
Squid
Sepioteuthis australis. Squishy, likes seafood and is an expert in opening jar lids. Useful companion under the water. Duh.
There are two variants of squids with different rarity/looks, but they all have the same utility.
Minecraft - gives aqua affinity effect when in offhand, instead of mining slowly underwater, you will be able to mine at regular speed like you would when not underwater.
Pondsama - each round, give the Squid to your fish with the highest speed. While the Moonsquid is equipped, the fish cannot be stunned or targeted by debuffs.
How to select
Minecraft
Type /offhands command in the chat window (press T) to display an offhand inventory. There is a cooldown period for you to switch to another offhand for ~2 minutes. To clear your inventory from any offhand (maybe you need a free slot), select the crossed circle from the offhand menu.
Pondsama
Interact with the bot in Telegram or Discord with a /pondsama_artifact command.
